Can not find mcsdk components in Eclipse platform

Hello, everyone.

I really need your help now.

I have installed these softwares as follows.

1) Eclipse IDE for C/C++ 1.4.2.20120213-0813

2) CCS 5.2.1.0018_win32-------choose install in existing Eclipse.

3)  biosmcsdk 2.01.00.03_win32

After CCS (i.e. Eclipse)  was launched,

I chose Help----install new software----already installed.

However, the components of mcsdk such as PDK,NDK... could not be found.

Then what should I do ? Change the environmental variable ???

    The version number listed is odd.  Are you sure it is 1.4.2?  Eclipse should have a 3.x or 4.x version number and the CDT package should be 7.x or 8.x.  I am worried that there is a version mismatch with Eclipse and what CCS is expecting.  Do you need to use the standalone Eclipse or can you just use the one that CCS installs?  Also CCSv5.2 is very old, I would recommend using something newer like CCSv6.1.

    If you go to Window -> Preferences.  Expand Code Composer Studio -> RTSC -> Products on the left.  THen on the right it should show you the locations that CCS is looking for software products and which ones it found.  If the location where you installed the MCSDK is not listed you could try adding it and then restart CCS.

  • Thank you ,John.
    It really works.
    By the way , my Eclipse version is 3.7, the 1.4.2... might be its internal number.
