CCSv6.1: TI Emulators Update Issue.

Hello,

I have tried to install the TI Emulators update 3 or more times. Each time CCS returns an error (see below). I am not sure if the error was the same each time.

What's causing this issue?

Hi,

It looks like the connection was timing out between your machine and the server. Can you try it again? Maybe there was some problem with the server.

I had the exact same issue yesterday, and it seems to be something related to how Eclipse caches the update information.

The way I solved was by strictly following the instructions at item 5 of the section below.

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Troubleshooting_CCSv6

Hello desouza,

I mistakenly deleted the

<installdir>/ccsv6/eclipse/p2/org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core/cache

while CCS was performing the update. Immediately after deleting the directory I noticed a dialog box appeared showing it successfully updated, so deleting the directory must have solved the issue.
