Upgrade of CCS from Ver6.0.0.00190 to Ver6.1.1

Hello,

Please let me know about the upgrade of CCS.

1. Even if I don't upgrade CCS from Ver6.0.0.00190 to Ver6.1.1 (latest version), can CCS Ver6.0.0.00190 be supported by TI in technical?
I want to know whether you support only the latest version.

2. For MSP430F5659, can CCS Ver6.1.1 and CCS Ver6.0.0.00190 generate the same .hex file for the same source code?
I want to know whether the output file doesn't not to be changed by upgrading CCS.

Best Regards,

Nomoto

Offcourse! CCS v6.x would be very well supported. As far as my knowledge even CCS v5.5 is still supported.

This depends on MSP430 compiler version.
