C5000 and CCS support

Question from customer:

Which version of Code Composer Studio supports TMS320C5x?

We are using CCS 4.1 with XDS510PP Plus (http://www.spectrumdigital.com/product_info.php?products_id=30 ) and everything works ok.

We need to buy new CCS licenses to update the Software of the TMS320C5x.

We were said that CCS 2.2x is compatible but we couldn’t find any confirmation. Also, I couldn’t find the drivers for TMS320C5x for any CCS.

Hello everyone,

The DSP is SMJ320C50HFGM50 (http://www.ti.com/product/SMJ320C50 ) and the status is NRND. Hope you can help me with this device.

I think you meant CC4.1 (Code Composer). Unfortunately the C5x family of devices is not supported by any release newer than what you have. One reference with additional info is at this thread.
