Hello,

Does the cloud version of GUI Composer store the GUI on the TI server or my local drive? Does it allow the user to store the GUI on the local drive?

What are the benefits/cons of the cloud version?

Also, the TMS320F28335 target wasn't avaialble on cloud version. When will that target be avaialable?

The cloud version of GUI Composer stores all project information on TI servers. However, you can download the entire project as well as the generated GUI to local drive if you wish. You can't work off of the local version, you will need to import/export to the cloud if you want to make modifications to the GUI. The benefit of this version of GUI Composer is that it can generate a GUI application that works on the cloud and desktop (Windows, Mac and Linux).
Although we do not have explicit support for the F28335, if you are using UART as your transport, specifying the exact device is not necessary. Support for F28335 JTAG should be available within a month.

Will the exported files work in GUI Composer plugin that comes with Code Composer?

You said in another post that TI was moving away from using the GUI Composer plugin. Is that correct? I hope not.

I would think they would generate similar types of files and use the same type of html/scripting languages. Is that not true?

I would like to keep my GUI Composer files private. That's not possible if they're stored on the TI cloud server.
