Cannot read System Setup data from XML file G:\workspace\math_cheng\targetConfigs\TMS320C6748.ccxml

not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 column 4

I have download the project successfully the day before yesterday ，use c6748，but today when i debug project，the errors upon appear。

Any project can not success。

Please give me some help，thanks！

Hi,

The error is happening in the Target Configuration file (TMS320C6748,ccxml) - can you try to "touch" it (simply modify a setting and then restore it to make sure the file is re-written) or create a new one and see if the problem goes away?

Sometimes this happens if you have applied an update to your CCS that makes modifications to the device support (in your case the C6748 device).

Thanks for your help,while i do as you say,delete the c6748.ccxml and setting a new one,the errors also occur. I also try to modify a setting and save it,when i touch "test conncetion",the errors also occur.

Hi,

Yes, indeed it seems a strange issue, especially because it seems that some internal (or temporary) file of CCS may have gotten corrupt and is pointing to something apparently meaningless: "C:\ti\ccsv5\ccs_base\common\targetdb\drivers\TI_reg_ids\_desktop.ini"

As I can't pinpoint where the issue is happening, a last resort before asking you to re-install CCS is to check sections 3 and 4 of the Troubleshooting page below.
