CCS/AM3352: CP14 Registers Location

Hello there,

 

My customer is currently debugging his code with CCS and has met a couple roadblocks. From taking a look at some of the ARM web pages ( infocenter.arm.com/.../index.jsp ) they can tell there are some debug registers such as what they call "CP14 debug registers", but my customer was unable to find them in CCS debug windows--

 

 

Can you point to us to where the CP14 registers are located?

    Amanda,

    For me the CP14 register group is located directly below All_banked_registers. What version of CCS is this?

    Amanda,

    At a certain version of CCS, the CP14 registers were exposed for AM335x devices in the location mentioned by John.

    I can't precisely recall which version of CCS this happened, but your customer can easily update the component called "Sitara device support" by going to menu Help --> Install new software and then select the following:
