CCS/TMS320F28069M: Not able to see the C2000 hex utility in the properties

Hello

I generated the code from simulink and opened the project file in CCS6 from link provided in diagnostic viewer. I was able to generate hex file from properties>>Build>>Build_ steps >> user pre-defined steps >> intel hex format after doing this settings when i build the project hex file was generated . But i c2000 hex utility was not visible in properties. Can someone tell me what settings i need to do to get c2000 hex utility in properties.

Vigneshwar,

I assume you are following the procedure as per this reference. If the hex utility is not shown in the CCS Project Properties, then it is likely that the CCS project metadata file generated by Simulink (typically .cproject file) does not contain the tool specification for the Hex utility. I would suggest contacting Mathworks Technical support about this.
