BQ76952: BQ76952

Part Number: BQ76952

Hi,

I am using a stationary battery pack of 8 cells each having LiFePO4 composition 3.2 V and 40Ah capacity. The purpose of this operation is to charge and discharge the battery system. I do have two questions:

Is the BQ76952 just a plug and play device or do I have to know coding to operate this chip?

What are the additional items I need to purchase in order to make the chip operational?

Thank you for your time.

  • Hi Tamoghna,
Thank you for your interest in BQ76952.
Please go thru the BQ76952 EVM User Guide (here) as it lists the equipment needed for the evaluation of BQ76952 and explains how to configure it (view the device registers, adjust protection limits and enable FET control outputs).
