reveals that there is no CAD download for this component. A link is provided on this page to request that CAD data be generated but it leads to a generic support page. Is there a process to request symbol/footprint generation for specific components or should these requests be posted to the web bench forums?

Hello Julian,

We have an internal TI request system for CAD file generation. Customers can request CADs through the E2E forum.

We have a product folder for TPS65381-Q1. Do you need the associated TPS65381-Q1_DAP_32.bxl CAD file? I requested the CAD to be generated and it should be available in the "Quality and packaging" tab of the product folder within a week.

Please let me know if this will meet your needs.

The TPS65381-Q1_DAP_32.bxl CAD is complete and has been sent to ti.com for upload. It should be available within 24 hours.

I don't see the CAD device linked from the product page but the CAD search now finds the .bxl which I have successfully exported to my library. Thanks for getting the CAD data generated for me.

Julian,

I am glad you were able to download the CAD file from the WEBENCH CAD search. The CAD was just added to our server. There is an inherent delay before the CADs feed into the product folder. I believe the CAD file will appear in the product folder by tomorrow (2/4/2015).
