The TINA-TI9 model of the 1N5400 rectifier gives the maximum forward current of 1 A when it should be 3A. It appears that the maximum forward current of other diodes in that family are also incorrect.

Hello Mr. Gupta:
Thank you for your response.
The problem I wish to report in the free version of TINA-TI , Version 9.3.100.244 SF-TI, is that the diode properties for N5400, 1N5401, 1N5402, 1N5404, 1N5406, 1N5407, and N5408 are incorrect. The forward current is given as 1A when it should be 3A.
Not seeing a file attachment icon, I have attempted to attached the TINA-TI by inserting it as a media file. I corrected the forward current value. The model runs fine.

Karl,
The forward current field in the diode parameters is editable. You may change the value if you wish. In this case, however, I do not think that the simulation would be effected at all.
I will report the error to DesignSoft.
