Decrypt PSPICE MODEL of ST VIPER27HD IC

We cannot decrypt PSpice models. It is illegal to decrypt a PSpice model without the consent of the owner. Most of the time, decrypting is NOT used at all. The encrypted models are created from an unencrypted model file source which can be provided based on business needs.

Then why are these models encrypted in the first place? I got this model from ST. How do I liaise with them to import their model into TINA TI?

However, the models are encrypted to be used in one simulator, in this case, PSpice version 15.7 or higher. Many vendors encrypt their models so that their IP can be protected while allowing the user to run the model in one simulator. Models are usually developed to be run in one simulator primarily.

In this case, you have two choices. First, you could use PSpice version 15.7 or higher to simulate with the model. Second, you can contact ST to see if they would provide you the unencrypted model (an NDA may be required) and then you can import the model into any simulator that provides PSpice model support.
