Hi all,

I am designing an Power ORing with 2 TPS22953 devices

The TINA model of TPS22953 shows a wrong behaviour

Normally when the SNS pin goes from high to low, the Switch output is disabled for Trestart (datasheet page 24)

When I test it in TINA, the macromodel does not disable the output but simply switch the PG output

Can you confirm my observation ?

Could you provide the .TSC file for the application? I want to make sure that I test the model in the same way you are testing it.

Hello Britt,

Here is the file

The ORing function supplies DC/DC TPS63020

The principle is when U1 Supply goes below UV theshold, it make U2 enabled, When U2 power good status OK, it disables U1Simu BACKUP.TSC

When I open the TINA-TI file, I get the following error:

I am curious as to why you did not use the TINA-TI reference design or model in the product folder.

I have not yet had a chance to check on the behavior you had mentioned, but I was wondering where the TPS22953 model came from that you were using.
