TINA/Spice/TPS40170: Load transient simulation using the TPS40170

Part Number: TPS40170
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Dear Team,

My customer wants to make a load transient simulation using the TPS40170.

When we exported the TINA-TI or OrCad models from the Webench and tried to simulate it using the transient simulation it takes a lot of time and makes it not practical to fine tune the various components.

When we tried the average model, we found out the transistors are integrated inside the model, hence we cannot use different transistors.

I've seen a similar request on the e2e on the following thread however it also didn't have a practical solution.

Can you please advise ?

Best regards,

Nir.
