WEBENCH® Tools/TPS54160: Add Voltage Probe Request

Hello Webench team,

Can you please add a Voltage probe to Comp Pin of TPS54160 to measure control voltage. Node is highlighted in the image below.

This schematic corresponds to Load transient simulation.

Hi Larita,

Thank you for adding the probe.

I just checked with a default design of TPS54160 to see the voltage given by the probe, I am getting the error as shown below

Hi,

Still the error in loading waveform of Vcomp probe exists.

Please look into it.

I ran a load transient simulation for TPS54160 with the Vcomp waveform. Please try again and let us know if you still have trouble.

Thank you so much. Probe is working fine now.

Request/ Suggestion/Feedback : Is it not possible to provide freedom to users to add Probes (both Voltage and current) in the schematic? To my knowledge, all the node voltages and branch currents should be available at the end of a simulation. If a user wants to monitor a voltage or current, he/she can simply add a probe and look at it. Adding a probe is not going to alter the design schematic as well. So I think it should be possible.
