When using the DLP2010 EVM can you decouple the the DLP 2010 from the optical engine?  For my application I don't need the LED's or optics connected to the DLP2010.

    Hi Alexander,
    Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology!

    You should be able to unmount DMD from DLP2010 EVM engine. Please make sure the flex cable connecting the Board and engine is not damaged. Also ensure that DMD is properly connected and secured to flex cable when in operation. A loose contact and signal noise could cause a permanent damage to DMD.
