coding of image capture

hello,

I trying to code image capturing using the GUI source code provided for lightcrafter. But I cannot understand the command packet for this sequence.

for camera capture I write a command to capture at 0x500. but how can I pull out the image to display on PC?

Hi Ray lee,

The command 0x0500 is intended for reading the data from a camera module connected directly to the Kit.

This camera module can be connected at connector J2 on the system board. Refer below picture 14.

As of Lightcrafter DM365 f/w version 5.0 - it supports three modules,

MT9V113 - VGA camera sensor http://shop.leopardimaging.com/product.sc?productId=104&categoryId=18

MT9M112 - 1.3MP camera sensor https://www.leopardimaging.com/uploads/LI-1M01_Camera_Module_Board.pdf

MT9P031 - 5MP camera sensor http://shop.leopardimaging.com/product.sc?productId=45

Important note: The camera drivers for the above in DM365 F/W code are having very minimal functionality to detect and read the frame data. Low level camera sensor adjustments are not available.

If you are looking for developing full system, then we suggest to go with DVSDK http://www.ti.com/dlplcr_dm365_dvsdk .

can I ask what format in the packet command would the raw bytes for image be returned to host pc?

You can refer to the DLP LightCrafter DM365 Command Interface Guide that talks about the packet command formats sent to DM365.

i read the command guide, for read from lightcrafter function at 0x05 0x00, there is width, height, image type, delay and pulse. where can I get the raw image bytes? pardon me as I am unsure of which data I need to read for the image for programming.
