Using stored pattern in Command trigger mode

Hello,

In brief, the stored pattern does not display for ever when the exposure time is set to zero.

I use the DLP Lightcrafter EVM in the stored sequence mode. I use for instance:

- bit depth 1

-Pattern count 3

- pattern type normal

-trigger: command

- exposure 0

- trig period 0

I upload the corresponding bmp pictures by pressing upload all.

When I start the sequence, once the next button is pressed the picture does not display for ever systematically. Very often it disappears after say 2 seconds. But I haven't found a typical time for this. Sometimes it displays indefinitely but it's never from the first try.

When used in auto trigger mode with an exposure time set to 1 second for instance, it does the job and the patterns display one after the other as asked.

When using the display this button on the right panel, it's ok but the pattern is displayed with an ennoying flickering. So I would prefer to use the next button on the left panel.

Any clue?

  • Hi Salima,

Can you verify that each pattern has an associated image file? Select each pattern number in the 'Load Pattern Images' section and make sure the expected image is shown in the preview window.

Could you also let us know any modifications you have made to the LightCrafter HW or SW? Have you taken it apart at all?

    Thanks,
    Clinton
