Hi there,
Is there anyway to bypass on-off switch, either in hardware or software?
Is there a document to show the map for the connectors, headers and the switches on the 4710 board?

Hello User,
Thank you for your interest in our DLP Technology. May I ask which DLPDLCR4710EVM you have purchased ? We just recently switch to the DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2 which enables the capability of driving the LEDs at 16A for Green/Blue and 12A for Red.
You can bypass the hardware switch by modifying the MSP430 code which is available online for customers.
We have for both 4710EVMs the schematic online available.
Best regards,
Nadine
Nadine,
With your help, I succeed to communicate with DLP4710EVM G2.
Now I have same problem to bypass the software switch on MSP430.
In previous post, you mentioned that it is possible to modify the code for MSP430. What I want is that when the main power is on, the DLP4710EVM-G2 turns on without press the push button switch.
Please let me know where I can get the firmware for it.
Thanks in advance.,
Sangjo
Nadine,
Thank you for prompt response.
I got the MSP430 code and know where I have to change in the code.
But I don't know what IDE or compiler I have to use to make a firmware with MSP430 code.
I found "Code Composer Studio for MSP microcontrollers" in TI site . Is that the tool which I need to compile the code and make firmware?
Please let me know how to start with MSP430 code.
Sangjo
Nadine,
Thank you for message.
I just ordered the USB debugger from TI. After it arrives, I will try to modify the MSP430 code.
