DLPDLCR3310EVM: Removing the light engine

Hello, a similar question was asked before but the answer was not clear enough. Please, is it possible to remove the light engine safely in order to access the DMD directly? I want to use the device for experiments with digital holography (shaping a laser beam with the DMD).

    Welcome to the E2E forums, and thanks for your interest in our DLP technology.

    Unfortunately, the DLPDLCR3310EVM is not intended to be modified in this manner. The DLP3310 DMD is not designed for laser light applications. I apologize for the inconvenience.
