I'm echoing the Linux/DLPC2607: Links to BeagleBone Black Drivers for DLP® LightCrafter™ Display 2000 EVM thread which is locked.

The BBB-blank-debian-8.9-lxqt-4gb-armhf-2017-08-01-4gb.img.xz from https://rcn-ee.net/rootfs/bb.org/testing/2017-08-01/lxqt-4gb/ seems to be configured to flash the eMMC first.

Unfortunately, the BeagleBone Black I have is Revision A5A with 2 GB of eMMC, not 4, so the process results in an error.

Is there a way to get the same image with the eMMC flash setting turned off?

Thanks for your interest in our DLP Products,

Have you tried using the alternate distro listed on the same page? In particular I am referring to bone-debian-8.9-lxqt-4gb-armhf-2017-08-01-4gb.img.xz. I believe this image is built to boot directly off the SD card instead of programming the BeagleBone.
