DLP2010: Building a projection system using the DLP2010 DMD

Hi,

I would like to build a projection system using the DLP2010 DMD. To my understanding, I need to buy the DMD, as well as the corresponding controller and LED driver. Then, I would need to buy some LEDs (or another illumination source) which will be driven by the driver. I just wanted confirmation about this.

Also, will I then need to make a PCB to connect these elements? Or how does it work?

When building a DLP system from scratch, you need to either design or purchase an optical engine from one of our optical engine partners:

The optical engine contains the DMD and LEDs, along with the necessary connectors and flex cables to interface it with the rest of your system. I recommend you review our "Getting Started" guide for more information:
