DLP2010: Firmware not working.

Dear Daragh,
Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

Could you please confirm which DLP 2010 EVM you are using:

1. DLP® 2010 Light Control Evaluation Module DLP2010EVM-LC - www.ti.com/.../dlp2010evm-lc

or
2 DLP® LightCrafter™ Display 2010 Evaluation Module DLPDLCR2010EVM - www.ti.com/.../dlpdlcr2010evm

Please note that both EVMs have a different GUI and firmware. You need to right version of both otherwise it will give you an error.

I made sure that I was using the correct GUI and firmware prior to comung on here due to the similarity's between them.

Hi Daragh,
The possible reason could be that you are using GUI for DLP3010LC not DLP2010LC. When you installed the GUI (even though down loaded from DLP2010LC link), it created two short cuts on your desktop, one for DLP2010LC and other one for DLP3010LC.

If you use DLP3010LC short cut, it will check for the firmware and will report this error. Please check you are using DLP2010LC shortcut not DLPC3010 shortcut on your desktop.

I noticed that there where separate GUIs for each system and have been using the GUI for the 2010

Hi Daragh,
I went through whole process of downloading and updating firmware. I was not able to reproduce the problem.
Could you please download firmware again and unzip it? See if problem still exists.
