Guys,
I wanna use GPIO from my 5505 USB stick, what expansion slot can I use for it ?
can I use :
I counted by myself on PCB it supposed to be 60 pins no 40 pins,
but from the schematic I got from TI is 40 pins, wrong schematic !
Can it be this card edge slot :
Any helps will be appreciated,
thank you
Hi,
See http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/c5000/f/109/p/97036/339817.aspx#339817
The current revision of the C5505 eZdsp is Rev D, which shares the same edge connector dimensions as C5515 and C5535 eZdsp.
Samtec MEC1-130-02 is the general family of connectors that will work. There are 3 types of connectors to choose from (standard, edge mount, and right angle).
Before Rev C, the C5505 eZdsp edge connector had a problem. See http://support.spectrumdigital.com/boards/usbstk5505/revb/files/TMS320VC5505_RevisionB_expansion_conn_OppsCard_b.pdf
Hope this helps,
Mark
See that the VC5505 eZdsp Rev B (top left) has a different edge connector to C5505 eZdsp Rev D( bottom left), C5515 eZdsp (top right), and C5535 eZdsp (bottom right), which all share the same edge connector dimensions (different pin outs).
From left to right...
Right Angle - MEC1-130-02-F-D-RA1-SL
Edge Mount - MEC1-130-02-F-D-EM2
Standard (Perpendicular) - MEC1-130-02-F-D-A
Regards,
Mark
