How to auto-detect capture resolution (video standard) using ezsdk ?

Hello TI,

We are using "ezsdk_dm814x-evm_5_05_01_04" with EVM board. We are playing with various OpenMax demos available in the ezsdk. We have gone through capture_encode demo available at "component-sources/omx_05_02_00_46/examples/ti/omx/demos/" in the ezsdk. In this demo we are setting mode (720/1080p) from which we are setting capture capture parameters based that.

We do have a requirement of auto detect the video capture resolution from TVP7002 and set the capture parameters accordingly.

Can we have a quick response on this ?

    From IL client you can set it for auto detect and set the parameters accordingly.

    I didn't get you exactly what you are saying, can you please elaborate or let me know piece of sample code for the same ?

    And even if i identify the way you are going to mentioned, how can i change my existing parameters for other components in relevant to auto detected resolution ?

    For Example,

    I am running capture_encode demo, It captures 720p60 and feds to DEI and then the output of DEI is given to Encoder for encoding. Now if i change capture resolution to 480p or any other, how can i re-initialize everything ? I mean all the buffers (of Capture/DEI/Encoder) used with 720p60 resolution ?
