OpenMax: VLPB component on DSP in EZSDK 5.04

Hi,

In EZSDK versions 5.02 and 5.03 i have used OMX component VLPB on DSP to process video frames from shared region 2, for this perpusse i recived an object file called omxbase_cfg.oe674 from Archith John Bency please see:

In EZSDK ver 5.03 this object file was also working OK, it have been told by Anirban Sengupta that "As a long term solutoin, we are working towards making the DSP firmware allocate buffers from SharedRegion2 by default for the next EZSDK release (5.04)" please see:

Now i am working with EZSDK ver 5.04, VLPB continue to allocate its buffers NOT to shared region 2 and the object file sent by Archith doesn't seems to help.
Can someone from TI please help with that?

Another thing that may be interesting is allocating OMX component VLPB on A8 buffers on shared region 2 and also use it for processing video frames.

ezsdk_5_04 decode_mosic display shows how to allocate memory from shared region-2.

Thanks for your reply, but that was not what i was asking about, i was asking specifically on the OMX component VLPB on A8.
