ISO7760: application when ISO7760 instead of photocoupler +DIPIPM.

Part Number: ISO7760

It is found that the noise is more large when ISO7760 instead of photocoupler +DIPIPM.
There is no any component between ISSO7760 and DIPIPM

Is there has any suggestion to avoid this problem?

  • Hi,

Could you please share more details about the noise problem that you are facing?
Photocoupler input signal thresholds and requirements are very different from the digital CMOS logic states hence it is possible that a given circuit could operate these two devices differently. A good design using digital isolators provides good noise immunity and the high isolation specs of ISO77xx devices make a system even more immune to fast voltage transients.

Please do share more details about the issue you are facing so that we can help you better. Schematic, PCB layout and waveform should also help. Thanks.
