I am having erratic communications back and forth between my access point and end point. The success rate in getting packets through is low. I happened to notice that when I probed the GDO0 pin with a scope, my success rate went up. I am using SPI polling and my GDO0 and GDO2 pins are floating. GDO0 is configured as 0x06. Is there anything wrong with leaving GDO0 floating when using the SPI polling method for determining packet status? Does it have to be tied through a resistor to high or low when not being used, but the IOCFG0 is configuring it to assert/deassert when packets are being received/transmitted?
Which chip are you using?

CC1101, thanks for the post. I solved my problem and it really didn't directly have anything to do with GDO0. So I am good now. Thanks.
