code::blocks for CC2540

May I suggest that someone at TI or in the community go through the steps to create a new project in code::blocks IDE for the CC2540 and share it with us.

code::blocks comes with 28 different compilers, including the IAR compiler for the 8051 and a template for 8051 based projects, and it's free.

I, like so many other guys, don't have thousands of dollars to spend on IAR IDE. But setting up such a project is not trivial, it needs to be all correct otherwise BLE won't work, so currently we are stuck with IAR. This prevents a lot of people from participating in this area. I think it would behoove TI to help us out with this.

I have the CC2540 Mini Dev kit, and would like to use the BLEPeripheral and BLECentral samples in code::blocks. I hope TI monitors this forum.
