Hello,

I am using MSP-EXP430F5438 experimenter board and want to establish bluetooth connection through PAN1323ETU . But when PAN1323ETU is connected to MSP-EXP430F5438 board, the USB of the board cannot be detected on PC. Also, after removing PAN1323ETU other codes run after removing USB from the board. Need help to solve this problem.

Are you saying it doesn't connect at all or nothing is dislayed in the terminal such as TeraTerm after connecting to the COM port? USB on the board can sometimes be tricky. Try plugging out and in a couple of times before computer recognizes it.

Yes I tried that too. Now the USB gets detected. But whenever I burn a code on MSP-EXP430F5438 board, I cannot see the result immediately. After taking out USB or changing power source selection I can see the result. This happened after I connected PAN1323ETU to the board. I tried checking other codes after removing PAN1323ETU but the problem still occurs.

I am using MSP-EXP430F5438 and want to transfer data through bluetooth using PAN1323ETU. I am using SPPDemo of Bluetopia and I can see all the commands on Tera Term. I have kept  PAN1323 in server as well as client mode. But whenever I give 'Inquiry' command it gives error. That is, PAN1323 cannot detect other bluetooth devices.  Are there any steps I am missing? What is exact procedure of connecting PC to PAN1323 through bluetooth?
