Is the F28PLC83 firmware source code available somewhere? I would like to use the source code with a slight modification (data transmitted is read from an ADC). Also I haven't had any replies from plc_support@list.ti.com

Is the TMS320F28PLC83 different from the TMS320F28069? CCS send a warning when connecting via XDS100V2, but all supplied documents state to use the F28069 with no indication that there should be a warnings.

    Yes they're as TMS320F28PLC83 is meant for PLC based applications and hence is a customized chip. On the other hand TMS320F28069 is a general MCU. You can compare them by going through these links:
