In my modest opinion, there is are some typo's in the manual.
Chapter 20.12.2, page 2074:
Table 20-72:
Interrupt enables in SPRC1 must be SPRC2.
"Every word receive" must be "Every word transmit"
Not the whole world, but anyway.
