Hi,

I need a help for Precise can bit timing calculations.

I need to configure 250Kbits, 500Kbits and 1Mbits bit timing for can.

CAN timing configuration is described in section 21.13 of the F2837xD TRM, which is literature number SPRUHM8.

Thanks Adam.

Actually normal prescaler has been present in TMS320F28377D, but i did not get usage of BRPE i.e. Baudrate prescaler Extension. Can you please help me to undertand BRPE along with BPR.

How the effective value of prescaler is calculated along with prescaler extension.

BPRE is just more bits for the prescaler. If you want to divide SYSCLK by more than 64, you need to use BRPE. For example, if you wanted to divide by 100, you would set BRPE to 0x1 and BRP to 0x23.
