I have a project running on the DSP which uses the MiniUSB of the controlCARD. I could connect it to a Win7 Laptop, which successfully recognizes the USB bulk device (after installing the Windows driver from the control suite). Now I would like to do the same with a Win10 Laptop, but when trying to install the Windows driver from the TI control suite i get an error message.

A rough translation of the german error message: The hash value of the file is not in the catalog file. Probably the file has been damaged or changed without permission.

Is this a driver compatibility problem with Win 10?

As of now there seems to be a driver compatibility issue with Win10. But there should be a work around which I'm unaware of!

I believe the driver is compatible. Windows 8 and I assume Windows 10 wants signed drivers, and right now our usb drivers are not signed properly. I believe you can disable this requirement for Windows 10 like you can on Windows 8. I suggest looking for some work arounds on the MSDN and the internet.

Yes, the TI driver is not signed and Win10 requires signed drivers.
I could disable this setting/requirement using the following steps:
1. click restart while holding "shift", then a menu appears while the computer shots down.
2. click troubleshoot -> advanced -> startup settings -> restart
3. after restart chose option 7 (disable requirement or something)

Afterwards there was the usual warning when trying to install the USB driver, but i was allowed to install it. Now the driver and the communication work fine under Win10.

Any news about the USB CDC Signed driver official release ?
I don't see it in ControlSUITE v3.4.4 (09-DEC-2016)

I believe TI is now releasing these drivers on the TI website. I will try to post it here if it is available now, or let you know where to look and when it should be available.

I don't know if this can help but I had the same installing issues that I solved installing www.ti.com/.../c2000ware and I got the drivers from under the utilities/ folder. I had to disable the device driver sign check www.technipages.com/enable-disable-device-driver-signing and it worked for me. I hopw this could help because for what I could see many users are facing this issue using windows 10

The new signed drivers in C2000Ware should work with Windows 8 and Windows 10.
