As per my experience, the devices fail and the same can be felt by its over-heating nature.

Hi Gautam

Due to overheating, my F28069 Launchpad board LEDs started to dim after 2 seconds. So I replaced the IC. Now when connected in debugging mode, Could not read ST1 register error is showing. What do I do?

Is the LDO still alive? Can you check the same? Check for overheat. I feel you'll have to replace the LDo as well.
