    Yes, the CLA can be configured to respond to various peripheral interrupts such as the ePWM or ADC.  The specific peripherals capable of starting a CLA task via an interrupt has been expanded in more recent devices.  In addition, on some devices a specific task can be used as a background task.

    Please refer to your device specific documentation TRM for a list of which peripherals can trigger which CLA tasks.
