Example for standalone use of Start/Stop and Speed Control Potentiometer

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Hi ,

I have DRV8301-HC-EVM Rev D with F2869. It is any examples to start working with for :

1. Using main-board's Start/Stop switches and Speed Control Potentiometer

2. Using  RC input PWM signal (1-2ms, 50 to 400Hz)  - for speed reference

Thank you,

Sergiu

Do you mean ControlCard with F28069? with M (F28069M) or without M?

If without M, I don't think there is an example for this, but you can check the pins to implement number 1.

If it is F28069M (with motorware project), you can refer to the documentation that mentioned in this thread (for implementing potentiometer)

  • Hello Maria,

It is the control card with F28069M . I had a look in that thread. I will experiment with potentiometer code .
But I did not seen how to use start/stop switches. I have basic knowledge in C and all projects in motorware are pretty complex.
However all projects are well explained so I should just spend more time.
It will be very helpful if one project will be included by default in motorware with start/stop switches, as well as speed potentiometer/SPI/I2C/USART/PWM as ready implemented inputs, assuming that I already ID the motor and filled up user.h
From such project I can continue to final product easy.

    Thank you for help,
    Sergiu
