TMS320F28069F: Current feedback circuit in instaspin foc

Dear TI Instaspin FOC Team!

Currently I am working with Instaspin FOC on TMS320F28069F.

There are several strange issues now, but the most relevant one to those issues , I think is current feedback circuit.

What I really want to know is that, is it necessary to do some smoothing for proper current reading via ADC?

I know on SVM, the ADC catches the current at boundary of SVM period, so that it will be after SVM active period.

1. Is the drive board TI EVM kit or customized board? And the current waveform is the ADC input point?
2. Make sure the motor parameter is correct, and identified by lab02b or lab02c.

But one thing I am really curious is, how I can calculate actual , real motor power from instaspin foc feedback signals?

And by the way, how I can do power control, not dq control in instaspin foc?
I am really wanting to set constant power output from dc supply?
Is that possible in FOC?

You can use lab01b and lab01c to verify your hardware design and current/voltage signal sampling. For constant power control, you have to add a power close control and need additional sensor to sample input current since the inverter and motor efficiency will change under different load.
