DRV10987: Is it possible to obtain 3.3 Volts at the output pin Vreg (in Buck Mode) for DRV10987

There is the V3P3 pin which steps down the 5V step-down regulator to 3.3V through an LDO output. According to DRV10987 datasheet "Electrical Characteristics" section, the voltage of the V3P3 Output voltage when the step down regulator is in buck mode = between 3.1 and 3.5V, with 3.3V typical, and the IV3P3_MAX load current = 20mA.

After talking with my coworkers, we see that for the DRV10987, it is not possible to obtain 3.3 Volts regulated voltage at the output of same buck converter by some means, in order to be provided a higher current.

DRV10983, which is very similar to DRV10987, can provide Vreg as either 5V or 3.3V and can provide 100mA regardless of which voltage is selected, so I would recommend looking at the DRV10983.
