Hello.

I have a problem with connecting my DRV8301 to F28096M Piccolo LaunchPad board. The problem is that when suply voltage exceed 3V, nFAULT is turning on. I think i've done everything described in 3rd paragraph of user's guide (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvuai8/slvuai8.pdf)

Kamil,

The User's Guide mentions that when turning on the power, a fault may occur that needs to be cleared and then the motor can spin up. Did you try clearing this fault?

Thank u for ur reply. Yes, i've try to set EN_GATE into state high to clear this fault, but it had no effect

Kamil,

Which supply are you increasing that gives the error?

Did you try on a second board?

I'm increasing PVDD voltage on a supply header section of the DRV8301EVM. Tomorrow i'll try to use different board and with new evaluation module.

My DRV8301 works fine now. The issue was not with the evaluaton module but with frequency of PWMs. I've increased frequency and motor started to spin. But now i've got the same problem with DRV8305 :(

That problem is that the motor is not spinning?

Which board are you using?

I'm using Piccolo F28069M LaunchPad and DRV8301 evaluation module. Now i'm trying DRV8305 module. Motor is spinning when im using older version of driver but it doesn't work with new one. I'm using the same program with both drivers.
