Part Number: DRV8702D-Q1
Please tell me how to set the current regulation. Is my understanding correct that the DRV8702D-Q1 needs to be set as follows?
Setting the current regulation :- Add the current sensing resistor between SP and SN- Add two resistors between AVDD and GND and setting the reference voltage to VREF- MODE is kept floating(Hi-Z)
What is the reason why the current isn't chopped if the above procedure is applied to DRV8702D-Q1?
Do you use an EVM or a customer board?
If you use an EVM, please follow the user's guide (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvuaw2/slvuaw2.pdf ) and tell me when you set different INx duty cycle, do you get different current at output? I would think this process would help you find the root cause.
If you use a customer board, please compare the schematic first. And then, follow the EVM's user's guide to setup the board connection and pin setting; check you set different INx duty cycle, do you get different current at output?
