DRV2605L: High power consumption in 'shutdown/STANDBY' mode

Part Number: DRV2605L

Hi there,

I am using DRV2605L in our application, it could function well in terms of vibration and set standby mode command(i can see the current consumption drop after setting it from active to standby), but we have some issue about the power consumption. Even it is set to STANDBY mode, it's still consuming around 500uA power. The same power consumption happen when we set EN PIN to low. But looks like the datasheet says it should be only several uA.

There is another suspicious observation, which is the REG PIN always stays at 2.92 v(VDD = 3v) which is different from 1.83 v as datasheet indicates. What might be the reason that the REG output is so high?

We wanna figure out the reason for that high power consumption, is there any idea or testing to help figure it out?

Thanks!
