Dear team，

The following questions need to be confirmed：

1. The  DRV2605 device works in ERM mode,  Can Library A -  Library E  work in closed loop mode？

2. In DRV2605 Setup Guide 1.6.1，Control 2 Register value is 0xF5，The register bit6 configuration is incorrect？

3. My configuration is as follows.  But practical on-site test，ERM occasionally it doesn't vibrate. What causes it?

0x1A : 0x36
0x1B : 0x93
0x1C : 0xF5
0x1D : 0x80
0x03 : 0x04
0x01 : 0x40

    Hi Hardy,

    1. Yes, you can use the other libraries in closed-loop mode. They were just designed for open-loop operation. There will be slight differences in each library.

    2. Yes, it appears this is incorrect. The datasheet has the correct value. I will update this setup guide.

    3. Have you used the excel Configuration Tool? This can be quite helpful.

    The setting for 0x01 is in the software standby state. Are you changing this to 0x00 and then writing the GO bit? Monitor the Status register (0x00) to see if the DIAG_RESULT is being set.
