DRV2511Q1EVM: Fault after each action

Every time I press Start in the WaveBuilder he executes the waveform once and then the fault led lights up.

What could be the reason?

Hi Tobias,

Please flash the firmware and see if the issue is fixed. If not, what type of signal are you creating? Can you share your setup?

Hi Kelly,

it does not matter what type of signal i create. It works once and after that comes the fault.
Then I have to re-enable the DRV and the fault disappears.

Hi Tobias,

I will need to understand your setup in order to help you. It sounds like there is a critical fault like over-current. What load are you using?
Were you able to reset the firmware? I know an early version of this device firmware would trigger the fault pin anytime the output was turned on, but this was a software bug. You can easily flash the firmware by following the instructions in the Haptic Control Console user guide.
