[AFE5809]when does profile vector take effect

Hi,

I can not find any text on when profile vector take effect. I did some tests and it seems it take effect only after tx_trig signal enabled. Can any TI member help on it? I need make sure of it to do profile switching dynamically. Thanks!

    River, your finding is correct. we are revising the datasheet. hope get it out in the near future. 

    you can refer to the attachement page 70. 

    TI recommends to program the profile and filter RAMs before configuring other registers.


    A trigger is required to make new settings effective, such as profile RAM, coefficient RAM,
    and PROFILE_INDX Reg.0x0E[15:11] —either an external trigger event through the
    TX_SYNC_IN pin or a manual trigger event through Register 0[2].

    PROFILE_INDX Reg.0x0E[15:11] must be reprogrammed to ensure new profile and filter
    RAMs loaded correctly.

    ADC CLK is required during demod SPI, profile and coefficent RAM programming.
