I'm not sure if this is the right place.. I'm working on cortex am3358 processor and successfully detect touch from a 4-wires resistive panel (thanks its touchscreen controller on board). Now I would like to add some multi-touch gesture (e.g. rotation, pinch, etc) but the controller on board doesn't support that kind of features.
So do I have to use an external touch screen controller that support multi-touch or could i detect them on software? what is the best solution (if there is one...)?In the second case, can anyone give me some some reference on literature/algorithms to use, please? unfortunaltly I didn't find much googling...
