UCC2897A: if the working temperature below -40°C, what will happen or which spec has problem of UCC2897A?

Hi team,

My customer is using the UCC2897A now. They want to check when the temperature below -40°C, what will happen or which spec has problem?

BTW: How we define the recommend temperature and max temperature? Simulation result or test results.

Hi Frank,

The -40C recommended min temperature is based on temperature testing and statistical analysis of the parameters as they drift with temperature.

TI will only guarantee performance withing the datasheet limits. If the customer uses the part at temperatures less than -40C parameters may drift out of spec or the part may not start at all.
