TPS50601A-SP: Can EN pin be driven from a GPIO?

This part has an internal pullup current source. So, the EN pin can be floated.

Is it possible to also drive the EN pin to a high level (~3.3V) from a GPIO of a MCU?

Will this damage the current sources?

Hey Gregory,

The EN pin of the TPS50601A-SP can be driven from a GPIO without damaging the current source.

Daniel...just for clarification. We are safe to drive EN both high (3.3V) and low (0V) using GPIO?

Hey Gregory,

As the GPIO signal is not outside of the abs max values for EN you are safe to drive it.
