Part Number: BQ25100

Hello,

Customer wants to use 230mAh battery without NTC thermistor.

And wants to make enable and disable function by using TS pin.

Can BQ25100 be enabled and disabled by TS pin?

If possible, could you let me know how can make it?

Regards,

Nicky

  • Hello Nicky

    This can be done.

If no NTC thermistor is used the TS pin should be connected to a 10k resistor to ground.  This will be a safe condition for the temp sensing function.

To disable the device pull TS pin low, directly to ground.

Note that TS pin is a current source and the 10k resistor will develop a voltage.
