Hi team,

I got 2 questions from the customer about Vout regulation of the LM5166Y as below.

1. Could you tell me what is the "Rising" and "Falling" mean in the figure 13?

2. The customer is using COT mode. The Vout regulation is almost 3.29V from the figure 13. There is a difference of the Vout as below. Could you tell me what is the difference ?

Hi,

1. The "Rising" and "Falling" mean if the voltage is OVER or UNDER the line, it triggers the threshold.

2. 3.29V is on the range 3.23V - 3.37V, it's reasonable.

I couldn't understand regarding #1. Which voltage is OVER and UNDER the line? Could you tell me more detail.

Hi,

I mean if the output is in undershoot, so it's falling and then if the voltage has fallen below the red line, it triggers PGOOD threshold. Conversely, if it's in overshoot and over the black line, it also triggers PGOOD threshold.
